Follow the River is a mixed chamber music group providing services for weddings, events, cocktail hours, parties, and recording. Violin, viola, cello, guitar, upright bass, flute, clarinet, and piano.
Our service area is the Hampton Roads and Richmond Virginia areas, but have extensive experience traveling and touring, should your event require it. The group is a modular ensemble, capable of adding or subtracting members based on the budget, music choices or sounds desired by the clients. We cover many genres such as classical, jazz, modern pop and more upon request. Our goal is to be a "one stop shop" for any event that prefers live music.
What sets us apart from other groups is the high expectations that we hold ourselves to. These standards extend from musicianship to music choice, from dress to a simple and pain free booking process. Members of the ensemble hold principal chairs with professional orchestras, have played with multiple Grammy winning bands and orchestras. Together we have decades of touring, performing and recording experience. This experience and musicianship lend themselves to incredibly positive and memorable experiences for our clients.
